Recreational Pots These pots are recreational sport pots. They tend to be smaller in size - easier to handle for the non-commercial fisherman. We STRONGLY recommend that when you purchase the hand pots, you purchase the hand pot anchor. This will guarantee you the best results. All pots are made from galvanized or coated wire. All pots adhere to the strict laws of Maryland and Delaware. All pots are made from 17 or 18-gauge wire and are galvanized or made with coated wire. Please be aware that some states have moratoriums on recreational crabbing with certain types of equipment. It is MOST IMPORTANT to ADHERE to the laws of these states so future generations can enjoy the sport of crabbing - as we are sure you will.
